Necromunda Time! I’ve not played this game in years, the last game was probably 10 years ago! After a hard day helping someone move house a bunch of us are having fun starting a new campaign to inaugurate the new gaming room.
I’ve also convinced a friend to go halfsies on a pair of Island of Blood boxes, going to go with the High Elves. The only cost is I have to help him paint all those Skaven… I suppose their could be worse forfeits. ;)
To all complaining about the new Storm Talon, here’s my suggested quick conversion fix. Just shift the cannons onto the front of the hull.
councilof13 rides to the rescue with another way to improve the aesthetics of this craft, I would also try shortening the barrells of the assault cannons to make them match the heavy bolters on the side so they look a little less tacked on.

I’m thinking extend the hull by an inch behind the cockpit with plasticard, then move the side guns up and extend the casing to mount an assault cannon under each heavy bolter to get rid of that horrible turret mount.
It will still look like arse, but at least it won’t look like this. I don’t see why they didn’t just do a beefed up plastic Land Speeder Tempest.

Just wondering how many different models people have in progress at a time.
Do you have a several different units at different stages of painting? A whole unit of troops? Just a couple of HQ’s and a couple of troops?
I’d like to know how people paint. Do you get bored with painting a model and…
Define ‘in progress’. I try to only have between 5 and 10 models waiting for paint on my workstation, with the rest of the stuff I’ve built packed away out of sight. However as I love building more than painting I’ll often get an idea in my head and build something else to join the ever growing queue.
